How to Use a Glucometer to Test Blood Glucose Levels (Blood Sugar Levels)

Whether you are newly diagnosed or you are the family member of a Type One Diabetic, it is good for everyone who is old enough to help in an emergency to know how to use a Glucometer.  I chose this video link because the gentleman did a great job explaining from start to finish what to do with a basic meter to get a blood sugar reading.  He was also to the point.  Many other videos were five or more minutes long.  My goal is to get you accurate information.  Sometimes another Type One Diabetic can deliver that information more clearly and concisely than a medical professional (even though I do appreciate our Diabetes Educators!).
